Day 01

Proceed to your Negombo lodging and relax with your loved ones.

 

Day 02

Go on a town tour of Negombo and see the beautiful beaches and vibrant religious structures. Afterwards Visit Sigiriya, followed by assisting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a wonderful location to witness infant elephants that have been left without parents.

 

Day 03

Climb Sigiriya Rock, the most popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka, first thing in the morning. Reputable large lion paws guard the stairs leading to the summit which formerly housed the monarch’s palace. Explore the afternoon town of Polonnaruwa to see the ancient remnants of the island’s fascinating past.

 

Day 04

The oldest historic city in the country, Anuradhapura, is worth visiting.The nation had 117 different monarch’s over the course of its millennium-long history and each one constructed Buddhist monasteries, lovely gardens and irrigation systems. Take a thrilling jeep safari through Minneriya National Park in the afternoon which offers the site of the biggest seasonal elephant gathering in the world.

 

 

Day 05

Proceed to Kandy and discover the UNESCO-listed two millennia-old Dambulla cave temple. The five caverns here have artwork spanning centuries adorning their ceilings and walls. Go on a fascinating tour of Matale’s Spice Garden afterwards.

 

 

Day 06

Visit Kandy, a lively city with excellent shopping possibilities. Take a city tour. Shops provide a range of Sri Lankan-specific items, including diamonds, batiks, wood carvings, and silk. After touring the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, enjoy a cultural presentation before heading to the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

 

Day 07

As you approach Nuwara Eliya, the hill country situated 1800 meters above sea level you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the endless green tea fields. Make a stop along the way to see a tea factory and the magnificent Ramboda Falls. When you go to the manufacturing outlet you can buy various types of  tea. Afterwards, take a tour of Nuwara Eliya city.

 

 

Day 08

Take a hike in the well-liked Hortain Plains,one of the World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. View the primary draws such as Worlds End and Bakers Falls. See the other well-known locations in Nuwara Eliya.

 

 

Day 09

This morning, board a scenic train bound for Ella, which will provide panoramic views of tea plantations, waterfalls, reservoirs, and an unending amount of tunnels.

 

 

Day 10

Experience a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park, the most popular tourist destination. See the Asian elephants roaming freely in the wild and the leopards of Sri Lanka.

 

 

Day 11, 12, & 13

Explore Galle’s magnificent Dutch Fort which is thought to be Asia’s best-preserved colonial fortress first thing in the morning. The island’s oldest breadfruit tree is located here as well. Take advantage of the Madu River Boat ride to see the wetland ecosystem up close. Participating in the conservation effort to preserve the baby turtles that are in danger of going extinct includes visiting the turtle hatchery. Make memories with your loved ones by strolling along the sandy Galle beach. On your last day in Galle take part in an exciting day of water activities in the Bentota River.

 

 

Day 14

Return to Colombo for a city tour, exploring sites like the Gangaramaya Temple, the Old Parliament, and Galle Face Green, before your departure.
